In 2024, I set myself a challenge: to make twelve short films in twelve months. The idea was simple—stop being precious, work fast, and push myself. Instead of spending years perfecting a single film, I wanted to explore storytelling and experiment with new ways of working.
The project became an intense year-long journey of filmmaking, bringing together actors, crew, and collaborators from all walks of life. By the end, I had learned more than I ever imagined—not just about filmmaking, but about the value of persistence and creativity under pressure.
These twelve films are the result. They’re not perfect, but they are honest and made with heart. For me, they represent a step forward—a foundation for whatever comes next.
By day, I direct documentary, creative campaigns and visual art for global brands and institutions, including the acclaimed Moving Cities project, which has garnered over 50 million views and is now in development in Norway. While I’m proud of this work, my true passion lies in narrative drama.
Stay tuned: there will be a London screening of these films in February 2025. Details are to be confirmed, but if you're interested, please RSVP to elouise@windandfoster.com.
