Sylvia.

I decided to make a film in Polish to collaborate with Patrycja Dynowska, whose talent I greatly admire. I was fortunate to also work with Agata Nielsen, who brought the perfect Cagney & Lacey tribute. Both actresses delivered the expressive performances needed to bring this haunting story of grief to life.

At its core, the film explores the demands of capitalism. It forces us to choose between work and family, survival and meaning. I wanted to tell the story of a mother, overwhelmed by life, who must make an impossible choice.
